Major Key: Ryan Harrington
Originally from Norwich, New York, I began at SUNY Oneonta as an undergraduate student in 2000. I studied Secondary Education and Spanish, obtaining my bachelor’s degree in Spanish in 2004. While at SUNY Oneonta I was a student leader involved in many different clubs and organizations, was the captain of the Men’s Swimming & Diving team, was an RA and a founding brother of the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity. I have held RD positions at SUNY Morrisville, SUNY Oneonta, and Binghamton University. My master’s degree is in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University. While in graduate school I was a Graduate Assistant for Greek Affairs and a Greek House Director. After graduate school I worked at Arizona State University for 18 months and then returned to New York. I have been back at SUNY Oneonta working as an Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) Counselor since 2012. Here I also work with the Men’s Swimming & Diving team as a Faculty Mentor, am an Assistant Women’s Volleyball Coach for Strength & Conditioning and advise a fraternity. Outside of my higher education experiences I am a Certified Personal Trainer and I teach Spinning (indoor cycling) classes at two local fitness facilities and enjoy long distance running, league and tournament volleyball and racquetball.
